Website Accessibility Statement

BCL-POL-13 · Approved by the Director, 11 October 2026 · Reviewed annually

Our aim

Baclands wants its website and information to be usable by everyone, whatever their abilities, device or communication needs. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

We have not yet carried out a full accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.

Accessibility features

  • Clear page headings and a skip-to-content link.
  • Labelled form fields and visible keyboard focus.
  • A mobile menu that works with a keyboard.
  • Text descriptions of the drawing animations, which respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Phone and email contact that does not depend on the enquiry form.

Known limitations

  • The enquiry forms need JavaScript to send. Without it, you can email contact@baclands.co.uk or call 020 7096 9989 instead.
  • Some older PDF and Word documents may not be fully accessible. Our policies are published as web pages, and we can provide other documents in an alternative format on request.
  • Some animation and screen-reader behaviour may not yet work as well as we would like.

Report a problem or ask for help

Email contact@baclands.co.uk or call 020 7096 9989. Tell us the page or document, the problem and your preferred format or contact method. You do not need to tell us about any condition or diagnosis.

We acknowledge reports within 5 working days and provide an alternative format within 10 working days, or a timescale agreed with you.

Review and complaints

The Director records accessibility reports, arranges fixes and checks the site after significant changes. If you are not happy with our response, you can use our Complaints Handling Procedure or seek independent advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
