Website and Enquiry Privacy Notice

BCL-POL-11 · Approved by the Director, 11 October 2026 · Reviewed annually

Who we are

Bacland Limited, trading as Baclands (company 15771031, registered in England and Wales), is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Contact us at contact@baclands.co.uk, by phone on 020 7096 9989, or by post at 1 Albion Place, London W6 0QT. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZB896769.

This notice covers website visitors and initial enquiries. Tenants, job applicants and project clients receive further information relevant to them.

How the enquiry form works

When you send an enquiry through our website form, your details go directly to us. They are stored in our business Google Workspace account and emailed to our enquiries inbox so we can reply. If the form cannot send, it prepares an email for you to send from your own email app instead.

Please do not include sensitive personal details unless they are needed.

What we collect and why

When you email or phone us, we receive your contact details, property information and anything else you choose to tell us. We use this to reply, assess the service you need and keep a record of the enquiry.

Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we rely on contractual necessity. Otherwise we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business. Some records are kept to meet legal obligations.

Who sees your information

Your information is handled by our staff and advisers who need access, and by the business IT providers that support us, including Google, which hosts our email and enquiry records. We share it with others only where the law requires.

If any supplier processes personal information outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

We also keep anonymous visit statistics, which do not identify you. See our Cookie and Website Storage Notice.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for 2 years after our last contact with you, then deleted. If your enquiry leads to a contract or project, the information becomes part of that record and is kept for as long as the record requires.

You do not have to use the website form; you can phone us instead. We may not be able to help without enough contact or project details.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, and for it to be corrected, erased, restricted or transferred. You can object to processing and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact us using the details above.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint at any time. The enquiry form makes no automated decisions about you. This notice was approved on 11 October 2026 and is reviewed annually.
