Reuse first. Order to measure. Report to your standard.

Most of our work is refurbishment, conversion and repair, so the building is already standing. We keep what performs, order materials from a measured survey, and provide the environmental records your contract asks for, in the format it asks for them.

Built into how we work

Four practices that run through our projects, each one leaving a record you can check.

Repair before replacing

Existing structure, fabric and fittings stay wherever they still perform. We remove only what condition or the design requires.

RecordCondition record from the measured survey

Order to measure

Quantities come from the 3D measured survey rather than estimates, so materials arrive in the right sizes and numbers, and less of them is wasted.

RecordQuantity schedule checked against the survey

Waste handled lawfully

Waste is separated on site and removed by licensed carriers, with a transfer note kept for every load.

Fabric first

Energy upgrades start with insulation, draught-proofing and glazing, then heating, controls and lighting. It is the order we follow in the homes we let.

Energy upgrades for rented homes and commercial space

The government has confirmed that privately rented homes in England and Wales must reach EPC C by 1 October 2030, with landlords required to spend up to £10,000 per property. Minimum standards for commercial lettings are expected to rise as well.

We start from a measured survey, rank the measures by cost and effect on the rating, carry out the works and have the new certificate lodged. It is the same process we use on the homes we let.

  • Assessment from the 3D survey, so measures are sized to the building
  • Measures ranked by cost and effect on the rating, within the cost cap
  • Fabric first, then heating, controls and lighting, with ventilation designed in
  • New EPC lodged by an accredited assessor at completion
